"Room above a busy pub so (as expected) noise late night at weekend. The room was OK, clean and warm but don't expect anything special, the price of the room reflects that compared to other places in Ryde. No shampoo or shower gel provided, so I got some from nearby pound land. Check in was handled quickly and friendly. Biggest problem was an awful stench in one of the corridors leading to the room and a pile of discarded furniture/junk too."

"A very nice short stay at this lovely old Hotel. Our room (3) was maybe a little dated but that’s part of the charm of this place. Excellent breakfast cooked to order with plenty of choice. Limited parking but the road outside is unrestricted so it’s not a big deal. Ventnor is a pretty place (10 mins walk). Would recommend the Spyglass Inn for a relaxing drink overlooking the sea."

"This was a lovely guesthouse, located very close (400m or so) from the cliff lift, and it was a short stroll to the old village. We were met upon our arrival by Jackie. She was very welcoming and helpful, she was amazing. The room was lovely, ours was newly decorated with a beach theme and consisted of a double room, leading onto a room with a double bed and further onto a bathroom with shower. The continental component of the breakfast had a great variety, and there was an amazing cooked...

"We loved staying at Albert Cottage. It is a unique property with beautiful historical furnishings and design. The breakfasts are wonderful. There is a lovely sitting room where we played cards. It has a nice restaurant. It is an easy walk to the fantastic Osborne House. There were a couple of small plumbing issues due to the age of the building but they were taken care of and not significant. We stayed in many places during our trip to the UK and loved this one in particular."
