Chose Hotel to celebrate 60th birthdays. Great location in a lovely gardens and grounds and very peaceful. Rooms large and well equipped and staff generally helpful although welcome at Reception was very poor and rushed. Spa facilities is good and excellent treatment by Chloe in the spa. Hotel let down by poor choice of menu in the lounge for/bar. Would have liked to have seen more lighter options. Thought everything overpriced considering quality and prices way over what they should’ve been for this Star rated Hotel. We opted out and walked to vocal pub for dinners on both night, excellent and much better quality and better pricing than Hotel. We did manage to order sandwiches which were not on the menus but poor quality and poor value, a real shame. shower also pour in the room and Windows needed some Maintenance. If the Management addressed these issues, this would be a Hotel I would return to in the future.
