"Our stay was really great. Due to flight delays I called the hotel to let them know we’d be late arriving. The receptionist stayed open later to welcome us, a really good feeling after our journey. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. We’ll definitely stay again next time we’re in the area."

"We stayed one night as part of a cycle around the Island. The beds were comfortable, room was warm , ample breakfast and good cycle storage. One shower had very poor pressure and a door that didn’t shut properly. No shampoo and conditioner, just a body gel / shampoo that I would use on hair. Basic and just fine. "

"A really lovely little place to stay. The room was spacious and the bed super comfortable. Having kitchen facilities to use is a bonus although we didn’t use them. The shower wasn’t great (rain head only) and I really struggled to work it. It would also be great to have a mirror in the bedroom area for getting ready as the only mirror was in the bathroom. "

"Room was a little tired but overall okay. Minor issues like ripped wallpaper etc. My only issue was the fact the latch was slightly damaged on the inside so I had no way to properly lock the door. I had to put the chain on and shove a doorstop under the door, as a solo female traveller this made me a little uncomfortable. Walls are very thin so be aware if you’re a light sleeper. "Very good pub hotel"

"We had an incredible stay here. We got lucky with the weather but the house was more than big enough for our party of 16. It was clean and tidy with great cooking facilities and the pool was lovely in 30 degrees! The owners were amazing with great communication in the run up to and during the stay and very helpful with check in. I would definitely stay here again and would highly reccomend it."
