"Celebrated my 40th birthday in Easter Island and decided to stay in Ohana. The location is a bit far from the town if you want to walk.but you can always ask the hotel to call for a taxi or you can also rent a car directly at the hotel which is a lot cheaper compared to the rental cars in town. The hotel staff are very friendly and attentive with our needs and they even made me a birthday cake which was very nice. The rooms are huge and the AC was working great. Overall I give this hotel a 10/10"

"What a wonderful stay we had. We were greeted by Valentina at the airport with flower wreaths and given a quick tour of the city prior to being brought to the hotel. The check in process was very nice and calming with a welcoming juice and treat by Patricia. She took our photo for part of a departing surprise. "Great location. The hotel is nondescript and has no signage indicating its presence. Very good breakfast. You’ll hear lots of bird sounds there including roosters that start their cries very early in the morning. There are other residences around the hotel, so you’ll hear their sounds as well, including their late-night music and banter. "

"From the moment you check-in at the hotel, the staff are available to assist with your needs. The restaurant menu offers a variety of very tasty dishes. One should consider booking various tours through the hotel. The operator is very reliable and the tour guides are, at a minimum, bi-lingual (Spanish and English). "By mainland standards, this is an unusual property. There is no signage indicating the hotel. The hotel is up a hilly driveway and what looks like the lobby near street level is for a different hotel. The owners and staff are very nice and live on the property, which is in a relatively quiet residential neighborhood. The hotel has a nice breakfast but they do not provide eggs. "Wow, where do I start? When I booked this place, I figured I would have to arrange a taxi to get there and then find guides to see the island attractions. I was wrong. As soon as I booked, Marcelo contacted me for my arrival time and was there to meet us at the airport. He is also a registered guide and we did our tours with him, talk about convenient. "We rented a cabin. It was very comfortable and perfectly located: quiet, save and it had a fantastic view. Service was excellent. Moreover, the owner provided us with a rental car and also he organized 4 sightseeing tours for us."
