This was our first time in DR. This property was great! The staff was helpful, property was clean and well maintained. The beach was absolutely beautiful. Pools were well maintained and the property was renovated about 6 months ago. Only negatives were À la carte restaurants and the push to join their club. At 3 of the 4 À la carte restaurants that we ate at we waited 20+ minutes for drinks after being seated and our waiter/waitress would disappear for long periods of time. One morning they wanted to “take us to breakfast”. Of course that meant they were going to try to get us to join their travel club. They were very kind until they understood that we were not interested. The salesman then changed completely and became rude and couldn’t get rid of us fast enough. That part of the trip was extremely disappointing and put a damper on our trip. We would still return and recommend the property to friends!
