"Two days before our stay we were notified that we were being moved to a different rental which apparently was an upgrade. What was not clear in the photo was the lack of space above the mattress (double) on the floor(no “bed”) and the ceiling. Not high enough to sit up while on the bed and have to bum scoot to the end and climb down a very precarious ladder. We both nearly hurt ourselves on it (super slippery) and we are pretty fit. It was heated using space heaters and while on, cannot use...

"We had a wonderful stay at the Blue House! The property was beautiful, immaculate, and exactly as described. It was very easy to access, included convenient parking, and was located in a great area. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the coffee that was provided, we were even able to make coffee each morning. Overall, we loved the experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!"

"The Spot is located on idyllic Porpoise Bay and is peaceful and quiet. Unfortunately, the check-in is 4pm and check-out is 11am which are not convenient. Ideally, noon and 3pm are more reasonable and in line with other establishments. Additionally, 3 minor things are the reason for a 3-star review. 1. A window washer was outside our room at 4:15-4:30 after we checked in. The staff didn’t seem to think it was a problem even though their highest vacancy time is between 11-4. Any window...

"The positive thing about this stay is the easy check in. It is all self serve. This should be explained better on the posting though. The room was value priced for Vancouver but it should be noted that this is a dorm room with little amenities. The sheets and pillows smelled like they hadn’t been washed, the tv did not work and there aren’t enough plug ins for the lamp that’s in the room. Wouldn’t recommend unless you wanted to stay in the area (UBC) and wanted below market pricing. Breakfast...
