"We got to this hotel and I had reserved a king size suite with kitchenette. When we got to our room it was 2 queen sized beds. The front desk told us there is a glitch and when it comes through to them it shows “2Q” or something and not the correct room. They didn’t have the correct room available to provide me unfortunately so we didn’t even stay and are supposed to be getting a refund. Very disappointing."

"This was our first stay at the Halliburton but definitely won’t be the last. This quaint little boutique hotel surpassed our expectations. The location can’t be beat! The room was beautiful and the beds and bedding were top notch. We enjoyed a lovely drink in the library before heading out to the theatre. Looking forward to our next visit to Halifax and the Halliburton "

"Overall an ok stay. Super clean and charming, unbeatable location. Some details could make the experience 5 star. All doors are very squeaky, which was disruptive in the middle of the night. There is virtually no sound barrier between the room and hallway, so it feels like you can hear other people breathing through the walls. The bed was VERY low to the ground and mattress felt cheap and dated. A few improved details would really make this place a hidden gem. "
