"Our favourite place to stay on Dartmoor. The staff are fantastic. They go out of their way to accommodate every request. Rooms are always spotless and modern furnishings. Situated in the Dartmoor National Park it is the best location for exploring the outdoors. The food is delicious and homemade. Truly wonderful place to stay."

"My wife and I had an excellent and comfortable stay! We were greeted at the door and taken care of as we were shown to our room. Upon arrival they gave us an upgrade to a sea view which was very kind! Everything was brilliant, only slight issue was the lack of wifi & reception in our room (reception problem with the area, not the hotel itself). We didn’t end up trying any food though, but looked delicious. Thank you Orestone for accommodating us! "

"Sehr tolles Pub. Saubere und ruhige Unterkunft. Das Abendessen und das Frühstück waren wirklich sehr lecker. Ein Parkplatz war nicht wirklich frei als wir angekommen sind, da einige Personen im Pub vor Ort waren, aber man sich hier einfach hinstellen, da sagt keiner was, man findet seinen Platz. Ich kann es nur empfehlen! Danke für die Gastfreundlichkeit."

"Myself and my partner stayed for 2 nights, on the first night with were arriving at 8.10pm just after the kitchen normally closes. We rang up and nothing was too much trouble, we preordered over the phone and they held off on preparing our meal until we arrived. Food was amazing and we had a lovely few drinks in the pub which has such a warm atmosphere. Our room was lovely, we particularly enjoyed the log burner, and was a great size. A great stay, we would definitely come again! "

"This was the last place I booked on our long road trip through England where we didn't have friends or family to stay with. I must admit, I had looked at so many different places, that I assumed this had wi-fi, and I thought I had booked a place with a washing machine. "An all male party of 6 stayed for 3 nights and the property suited us perfectly. Communication from the owners was good. The furniture was perhaps a little ‘tired’ but did not affect the quality of our stay as it has everything we needed."
