The atmosphere and ambiance of the hotel itself, and then the back drop of a beautiful sky and horizon, and the woodlands surrounding, it’s just the perfect place to quickly, but with slow luxury, be able to unwind and recharge at the same time. "We booked here very last minute when there were limited options and beyond pleasantly surprised and would stay again. Very friendly and helpful staff, easy check-in and check-out, convenient location to get around Edinburgh (we walked to a gig in Queen's Hall), next door to Waverley but sound proof/ not loud outside, and we also managed to nab an overnight parking spot outside (free after 6.30 Saturday until 12.30 Sunday, ticketed otherwise). We didn't have breakfast but seemed well priced for...
