"Amazing experience at the Parador. Resort is magnificient, you have a Monkey Trail, mini putt for the kids and pickleball courts. The pools are overlooking the Pacific Ocean with an amazing view. We saw onsite monkeys, iguanas, many kinds of birds and sloths. Breakfasts were great and the Tapas restaurant was well priced compared to outside the resort. "Just got back from a stay at Shana. Both the property and staff were fantastic. They went out of their way to help us… with things related to coming and going, setting up outings for the day that kind of thing. They are responsive to questions asked over the net/expedia which is something other places are not. Much appreciated. Also much appreciated is their handling of our late check in and check out. The hotel is on a fairly steep hill, so bear that in mind if mobility impaired… that going...

"The first night, the hotel lost water, so we had to go to bed hot and sticky. Water was back on in morning. Second night we lost cable TV, that was down for two days. Maintenance guy tried what he could, he ended up needing to swap out the actual TV also. Upon arrival The room was clean, as a boutique hotel as expected the rooms are small. "We had an excellent stay at Costa Verde. Our room was absolutely stunning with a very large balcony and large windows overlooking the ocean. We could hear the ocean waves and every morning we got up at 5:30 in the morning to listen to the birds and enjoy the sunrise. The family suite that we had was clean and beds were very comfortable, and the costa verde grounds had several very nice restaurants with free shuttle transportation offered to the restaurants because of the fact that the property...

"This hotel is not a 5-star experience. The pool is at best uninviting, it’s very tired and not really usable. The room smelt of bleach on arrival although that did fade over the few days we were there. The staff were friendly and the spa was great, but the concierge service (via WhatsApp) didn’t really work as it wasn’t responsive enough. The room design leaves a lot to be desired. It’s ok, but not 5-star. "

"Clean and modernized room and bath. Beautiful location with ocean and mountain views. Hotel is inside the mountain top park with lots of beautiful plants and lovely animals. Love the multiple long and high hanging bridges spanning from tree to tree. Lots of fun to walk, climb, and observe in the park. Delicious breakfast in a lovely open cafe platform with wonderful natural views."
