"Beautiful house steps away from pristine and unoccupied beaches, jungle path that goes on for miles teaming with monkeys and birds. This is remote. No true restaurants nearby, but the tent camp serves a delicious evening meal with a full bar and is about a 10 minute walk. Town is a 60-90 minute hike and has several restaurants and a very small grocery. The owners of this house are delightful, helpful, and provided excellent orientation to living openly in the jungle. "This was an amazing space for a week away with our kids and spouses, who all live in different cities. Tranquil space with lots of options for more excitement (e.g. surfing lessons), and a constant nature show of birds, monkeys, and other wildlife. Delicious food, and friendly staff who went the extra mile (one of our daughters twisted her knee on the first day and needed a few more rides than we'd planned on). We saw scarlet macaws and toucans regularly and were fortunate enough to see a tapir pointed out by the very helpful property manager and tour guide, Yeri.
