"Nice old-style Hotel with its unique charming setting. It was a perfect location with plenty of options nearby to find something to eat, shop, and centrally located for sightseeing. I can see that the summertime would begin to heat up and the rooms might be a bit warm without any AC. I was there during June 22 - 25 and these were the first warm days in 2026. My room was facing the water canal (back of hotel), and the sun heated the room in the late afternoon. During this time of year, it would...

"The room was clean but very small (which I knew when I booked it). The location near the water and train station were important to me. The price was reasonable given the high costs in Amsterdam. Check-in was slow and the reception area was not organized or staffed adequately. Check-out was easy since I did it online. I wanted to use the luggage lockers but received different information on cost and space from two different receptionists. Ended up not using them as a result."

"I was coming from a river cruise, and was told there was NO shuttle, so my choice was to pay for a taxi, or pull suitcase and carryon for 15 to 20 minutes along the river promenade. Not what I had expected."

"Das Zimmer ist für eine Person ok. Für 2 Personen ging das eigentlich gar nicht wir mussten unsere Koffer im Auto lagern da im Zimmer kein Platz war. Außerdem hat es in unserem Zimmer nach gulli gestunken. Hatten Zimmer 001 direkt neben der Tür da alles sehr hellhörig ist war auch schlafen schwierig."
