"Location"

"The staff was kind and courteous. The lobby area and hallways were quite nice. The restaurant for dinner is only open for a few hours at night. As well the menu is small. The chicken Caesar salad is not available, the waitress informed the table next us that they had no chicken. The chefs salad has no meat in it. It’s basically a garden salad. We tried to order 10 minutes after the table beside us and were told the kitchen was closed, at 8:30 pm. Thankfully there was a restaurant down the street...

"I had an 18-hour layover in Amsterdam and the location of this hotel was perfect for this occasion. Spacious rooms, non-smoking, beautiful views of gardens, quiet, good gym on the top floor, sunset view from the top floor was amazing, shuttles to and from airport but they stop between midnight and 6am (I took an Uber which was great). I got to the city center and back using the shuttles to airport and taking the train from there. The city center was crowded and noisy, I’m glad I didn’t stay they...

"Bed was walled on 3 sides so quite awkward for the person sleeping on the inside of the bed and shelving / storage is very minimal but rooms are clean, safe and quiet. Staff are polite and professional."

"We arrived very late, or early in the morning. Kenny, hopefully that was his name, really went out of his way to help us out finding a more convenient room. He had such a great energy and a great smile. Also, he spook Dutch, not all the staff spook the language. We came back after our second trip and helped us out again, thank goodness he was there! "If you miss the free shuttle it’s €23 for a taxi. The check in is quick and no fuss. The room was tiny but ok for the short time we were there. The shuttle bus back to airport was very good."

"They were so accommodating, we got in early morning from an overnight flight and they were able to give us our room well before check in time - so incredible for weary travelers!! The breakfast was delicious and had a huge variety. We loved our four day stay and would not hesitate to book again!!"

"This is a very nice Holiday Inn Express location. About a 15 minute walk to Hoofddorp city center. Plenty of stores to shop, vendors outside and lots of places to eat. Staff is super helpful and it’s only 10 minute walk to the Hoofddorp train station stop. I would definitely stay there if I visit Amsterdam again. Oh it’s only one stop from the airport. Breakfast was great"

"Very nice rooms and modern reception area. The breakfast atrium location and offering was off the chart awesome. Bar was good, a little over priced but very dark compared to the other amenities. The self serve convenience mart area was nice with good selections. The entry into the hotel is where the smokers sit and while a nice seating area, beware of all the smokers leading in to the hotel and as much as they try to keep up with all the cigarette butts and provide large containers, guests...

"Amazing staff willing to try to accommodate any request. Great location to see everything in town (it’s very walkable and you can also rent a bike and go anywhere) and to travel to and from other countries. The room could’ve been a tiny bit cleaner but honestly it seems every hotel has let standards slip since Covid. First hotel in Europe I’ve seen where the thermostat will let you set the A/C below 20C, place deserves 5 stars for that alone."
