"My husband and I came here for our anniversary weekend and we had a great time! The cabin is quiet and peaceful; it is an excellent place to enjoy nature, while also only being about 25 minutes from Mount Pleasant. We loved being able to walk to the nearby nature preserve and experience a serene walk through the forest. The house itself was super clean and very nice! Kim is an excellent host!"

"Floyd was great! There is a cat, she is very sweet. There was plenty of room for everyone. We had 13 people (8 stayed the night). The kitchen had everything we needed with plenty of space."

"The weather was perfect - 80s during the day and 60s at night. Enjoyed using the paddleboat, canoe, and rowboat. The cottage was very clean and stocked with everything you may need. Only down side of the week was the fish were not biting. Definitely would love to rent again. "

"Wonderful place to unwind and read indoors and out! Plenty of room and nicely equipped. Beds are comfortable. Wonderful place for children as well. Had accommodations for children we did not use, but could see how wonderful this property would be for families! Dianna was awesome with all communication. Highly recommend! "

"This cabin is just as described and more. It was very clean and included everything we could have wanted, plus some. They even left some snacks for us and a toy and treats for our dog. It was just what we needed and we so wish we could have stayed longer."

"Very happy with this cabin in the woods secluded from the main road but still 15 minutes from Evart MI in case you need anything. Beds were very comfortable same with the couches lovely master bathroom too would stay at again. Found our it's 30 mins from the Tin Cup Orv trails which I've wanted to check out so that was a huge plus. Would recommend to friends and family!!"

"My wife and I stayed here two different times this summer. As far as we are concerned, this is what a cottage up north it's supposed to be like. The setting is beautiful and the Sun rises spectacular"

"This cabin was affordable, in a tucked away neighborhood. It was very clean and cozy. The neighbors yards give a different impression of what the stay may be like, but we never felt unsafe, nor were our things outside ever bothered with. It’s a nice walk down to beautiful Arnold Lake. The host was never nice, communicated well and answered right away. The kids loved the Lincoln logs and it was nice having a dog cage already there for our pup. "

"Great house with enough space for a large group to sleep and play comfortably. Great location, we used the community pool and could walk to antlers! Water is pretty intense well water so we brought our own to drink. I would say that is the most inconvenient thing but otherwise a fantastic stay and we will be back! "

"A bit overpriced. Issue with small ants for which we bought traps. Home was not as clean as we would expect and bathtub did not seem usable. Two twin beds were not very solid."

"We went for a girl's weekend without a plan besides having where to stay. Well when we arrived and saw how beautiful and well-kept the house was, we didn't want to leave! The owner has the has COMPLETELY stocked with whatever you could think of, including toiletries, snacks and even supplies for a successful bonfire.. we spent 85% of our trip in the house! There was no need to go out except to pickup dinner (because we took food to make for breakfast and all the amenities were there for that...
