"I loved this place with one important caveat. The bathroom floor is extremely slippery. Socks and dry floor? Bare feet and wet floor? You need to be careful, especially if you're older. I almost did the splits going to use the restroom. The shower is small and you can't keep the curtain in, so the floor will get a bit wet. "Very nice little cottage right on beautiful Chippewa Lake. Everything you need in a home for a great relaxing weekend. Chippewa Lake is incredibly quiet, we stayed the weekend before 4th of July and rarely heard or saw anyone! The house was fully stocked, including a paddle boat, kayak, and paddle boards. Hosts also have a second main home on the property and were readily available if necessary (but kept to themselves after an initial greeting). Definitely recommend!"

"The place had a pet odor when you walked in the door. There were small bugs everywhere. We lost hot water and gas connection to stove for a day due to construction work in the yard. The pool looked green from iron in pool water.The hosts were kind and considerate and refunded our money for the inconvenience."

"Adorable little getaway in the perfect location! I couldn’t be happier with our stay. I highly recommend you ride the bikes to Neiman’s in the morning for a donut, then eat it on the beach! My only heads up would be if you’re avid coffee drinkers, you might want to bring your full size coffee pot. There is a keurig and a small coffee pot that makes a couple of cups at a time, but didn’t last us very long. Thanks for going above and beyond with all of your special and thoughtful touches "

The cottage is in a serene setting but offers easy access to activities and attractions. The hosts go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, with little extras and great communication.
