"The grounds are beautiful and the facility was clean and well-kept. Staff members were pleasant. We would actually consider staying there in a different room but the white cabin with the thatched roof was awkward and uncomfortable to the point that we left after one night even though we knew we wouldn't get a refund. You can tell from the photos that some of the description is inaccurate (It's just one bedroom and doesn't have a private pool though there is one pool for all guests to share.) but...

"The condo was clean but smelled of disinfectant. The smell was so unpleasant that I had to keep the window open all the time. Although the window stayed open for the entire time, the smell remained. As soon as I stepped into this condo, I called the BEE management and asked for a different condo, but the person in charge claimed this could not be provided and refused to reimburse me. "The staff went above and beyond to help us arrange tours and guides. The room was super clean and comfortable, with a good kitchen. The property is gorgeous! Just like having a wildlife reserve just outside your door, including good hiking trails to the upper part of the property."

"Superzimmer, sauber, toll ausgestattet (Küche, Bad, Klimaanlage), für unseren Bedarf mehr als ausreichend. Allerdings war es schwierig zu finden da wir zum ersten Mal in Costa Rica waren und nachts angekommen sind. Der Taxifahrer wusste zu helfen. Gerne wieder."
