The location was further away than we would have liked from the activities we were doing and there is about a 20 minute drive on a dirt road leading to the house. "

"We had a great time staying in this location. The view of the volcano is so nice, and the yard is beautifully landscaped. Being so close to the highway, you can sometimes hear a bit of traffic, but it wasn't too bad. Having Soda La Palma next door was great! We ate there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. "This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane...

"Beautiful home and surroundings. I recommend trying to arrive while it is light. We arrived in the dark on a rainy night. We lost service and it was difficult to meet property manager. Once we figured it out, all was good! The home is comfortable, well stocked and provides an amazing view of the Arenal Volcano "
