"Lovely peaceful setting on the river, quiet country setting. Access to surrounding towns was easy and I appreciated the list of businesses you provided. The views from the balconies were great as well. Managing the stairs with luggage was a bit challenging. Would be nice if owners could build out a bit of a landing zone at door height for luggage to sit on while you open the door. "The home itself is wonderful and clean with everything you need right there. It was so nice to have everything available to cook with and especially having the linens already provided. I would recommend this place for a fun adult trip or with older children. We had our 3 year old and it was tough getting to and from the dock on the lake walking a good ways down a steep hill and a long flight of steps to fish or canoe. "Over all the description of the property was spot on. The cleaning staff needs some pointers. Perhaps they can take some time and clean the coffee pot, empty the lint from the dryer, and cob webs along the floor by the registers. We didnt use the hot tub or the grill, we didnt want to clean them to use them. There was a faint odor of propane near the large tank. Other wise we had a blast.Barnardsville really got demolished by those storms. I had no idea it was that widespread. "
