"It was missing many items to make it feel like the comforts of home. We really missed having a working ice maker. There was one in the freezer but it did not make ice. The glassware and coffee cups were very small. No throw blankets. Temperature was too warm or too cool- thermostat hard to control."

"Quiet and comfortable, with everything you might need easily available (plenty of towels, blankets, etc; also soap, toilet paper, paper towel). We used this as a base for visiting Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. It worked perfectly. In the evenings, we saw deer, turkeys, and many squirrels. Fireflies too! It was a lovely mini-vacation for our family. Everyone enjoyed the variety of books and old National Geographic magazines in the evening. Wonderful!"
