"I read reviews on this property, and we were hopeful that it would be a great experience. The room was clean enough; however, the furniture was pretty dated and worn, floors had several obvious flaws, along with shoddy patch jobs on some wall issues; the overall appearance seemed a bit run-down and mediocre, especially for the cost of the room. "We had a great stay at the Carmel Mission Inn! The property was very clean, spacious, and safe. It felt very new and renovated and had a cool vibe. It is one of the more affordable places we would find, but it felt like it was more luxurious than the price we paid, which was a great bonus. We would definitely stay here again! "

"I really enjoyed my night here. The location is stunning. It was beautiful to fall asleep to the sound of the waves, I have not slept as well for a long time. And waking up to the view and the energy of the nature was so nice. Note that there is no staff at the site when you arrive and there is no cell phone service, so it’s a good idea to download or take a note of the code for the key box while you still are in an area of cell phone connection. But they do have a good Wi-Fi service available...

"I traveled with my husband and two littles, and everything was perfect. Easy check in, and very close to many things and even markets. The continental breakfast had great options, and overall was a very nice experience for us all. Will definitely be returning! "
