"This was a great place to stay while we were dropping our daughter off for her sr. year at DSU! The location was central to her house in Camden, the beaches in Rehoboth and nature/marsh/beaches of southern Delaware Bay. We really enjoyed getting ice cream and walking the riverwalk. The house itself was fantastic!! It is an old house so be aware of that. We actually appreciated the character and charm that the history added to the experience over a 'new' property. "Marissa was very attentive in answering my questions quickly! The house was perfect for myself and my small dog! It was in close proximity to all the beaches. The bed was super comfortable. "The sandpiper was a great little getaway for our short weekend. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of restaurants and shops open in the area in January.
We checked in after hours, but the staff made it so easy with such simple to follow directions. Check out was the same.
Definitely already considering another winter getaway next year at the sandpiper. Highly recommend."
