"Randy is awesome!! The Town of Love Valley is one of a kind.. we stumbled upon it by accident when we booked the closest place to Emerald Hollow Gem Mine and it was such a pleasant surprise. It is a Western themed town, only horses allowed no vehicles. We had such a good time at the rodeo and horseback riding. The apartment was massive with five bedrooms and all the accommodations. It is an aged, rustic and Western type place that is well worth the visit! Randy makes an amazing breakfast as...

"We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful suite! Located above the garage, it offered a wonderful private lakefront view and was such a peaceful and relaxing retreat. We especially enjoyed having access to the covered, furnished dock—a perfect spot to sit back, relax, and take in the beautiful lake views. "Very clean and comfortable property with easy check in/out process. Conveniently located to everywhere in the Hickory area. My only suggestion to the host would be to add thicker blinds or black out curtains to the bedrooms. The home is in a quiet residential area with neighbors very near. There were no noise issues, but outdoor lighting and headlights illuminated the bedrooms very brightly to the point of disturbing sleep. Other than this one suggestion, the home couldn't have been better in...

"The property was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable and the portapots were the cleanest I’ve ever seen. We only gave 4 stars because the condensation buildup inside the dome dripped pretty steadily leaving puddles on the floor and bed got us in the face some while sleeping, it had also created some mold/mildew inside at the top. This is just something that happens with tents, but is definitely a little bit of a downside and we would have brought something to protect our bedding if we...
