Great place to crash while up there for an event. WiFi was spotty but not the biggest thing in the world. Some friendly cats hung with me and the wife while enjoying the porch. Would book again if I go again next year

The cabin was very clean and we were greeted by some really nice kitties. The internet did not work so there was no tv, and could not use my laptop. We knew there was no shower, but there was NO HOT WATER!!! Had to heat up water in the microwave in order to wash up!!! Really only enough room for 1 adult and 1 child on the couch. Just thought it should definitely have hot water.

I needed a very affordable but safe place to retreat to from my caretaking duties at someone's else's home 20 min away. It was AC equipped, good bed, 1/2 bath worked fine [showered somewhere else] & little fridge had drinks in it. I fashioned some shades for privacy, but i did not use the coffe maker [though well stocked] or the TV. You need transportation to get out to your retreat place, food & entertainment in the beautiful suburban hill country of Caldwell co. NC

This is a nice functional place for a nightly stopover. Clean and well attended to. It’s basically in their driveway near their house so it might not be a good option if privacy is your goal. That was not an issue for us, however, because we just needed a place to crash for the night. It will accommodate only one adult comfortably, and perhaps a child. There is a twin bed and a loveseat/chaise combo.Met the gentleman that is the owner, Nice folks!

It was very clean. It was very secure location. Only thing id quibble about is ventilation. I like all my windows open and doors open. Not possible in this location. Now I'm just quibbling about my likes and dislikes.

My semi was in shop & I needed a place last minute. The inside and outside pics are ok but bathroom kinda misleading They provide towels hairdryer etc however there is NO SHOWER or TUB. And my bad but it says PET FRIENDLY however fine print 20lb max weight. So needless to say I tried to refund right away & was told by Expedia to contact owner which with a Wi-Fi password of NOTTODAYSATAN I figured I wasn’t in the mood to deal w/a possible religious fanatic.. so God bless us all & perhaps I inadvertently helped another person out!

Very misleading

The only issues I had with this listing were caused by the lack of transparency by the listers. There were many things not listed that are important to note about this property. I would not have stayed here and won't again now that I know. This cabin is directly in front of a huge home and next to a storage shed. This is not private at all. The windows looked directly from the house into the cabin and there are no blinds or curtains. The lack of shower is briefly mentioned but what isn't mentioned is the complete lack of hot water and shoddy plumbing system. There is a twin bed, but no child bed like listed, it is just a small couch. There seems to be no insulation as the "heater" barely kept the cabin warm. The price makes this a good deal, however proper preparations need to be made if you stay here and it's wrong of the owners not to inform people of that.
