"The hotel itself is affordable, good location and good for a short stay. The staff were not transparent when it came to costs however. They stated they would ‘get us an ocean view room’ instead of a city view, implying an upgrade at their cost and kindness which we were delighted to hear. Only to be advised that we had to pay over a hundred dollars to be upgraded at our cost. They also advised the parking was $30 per night, only to be charged $35 on the second and subsequent nights. "Had a 2 night stay for work purposes and it was quiet and easy to access. Just had no hot water on my first night but this was quickly rectified the next day."

"The room was quite poky.. There was no comfortable chairs to sit on. The TV had foxtel which was very convenient.. The breakfast was quite good. Bat the bar The coffee was very expensive.The coffee was actually a medium at $8.."

"Hotel was pleasingly good. Well appointed and decorated. We were on the 24th floor with a fantastic sea/city view. Walking to Cavill Ave was about 10 minutes along the beach. Beach was good and had flags for the kids. Northcliffe Surf Lifesaving around the corner was on point for breakfast. Good gym, pool and sauna. Parking underneath for cars. It is in a bit of a construction zone currently, but this didn't bother us at all as we were up early/ish. I'd stay again."

"The location is fantastic, but overall the stay didn’t justify the price. The room felt dated, and the TV in the bedroom didn’t work. Check-in was frustrating as we were told a physical credit card was required, despite many people now relying on digital wallets. They ultimately accepted a debit card and processed it as a standard transaction anyway, making the initial insistence seem unnecessary. While the room appeared clean at first glance, travelling with a crawling baby quickly revealed...

"This hotel/apartment was really a home away from home. The view was spectacular with a view of both the beach and the river. So close to heart of Surfers! I recommend if your taking a trip to Surfers stay at the Rhapsody Resort you won't be disappointed!!!!!"
