"Amazing location, staff, and room!"

"Location was great, impressed with how quiet the rooms were at night. I'd stay here again."

"Excellent"

"good stay and very helpful staff"

"Lovely hotel. Walking distance to town. Spa enjoyable."

"A fantastic stay- so good we wished we had booked for longer. The building is beautiful and has so much character. Staff were lovely and breakfast was delicious. Our room was clean and spacious - a rare treat on our trip! The beds were comfortable and the towel warmer in the bathroom was an unexpected bonus! The layout of the hotel was fine for us- but may be an issue for someone with mobility issues as even though there was a lift for some of the rooms our room still required a series of...

"Unique building and garden"

"Great location and Bar and Restaurant ! Comfortable room great staff."

"Great hotel in a handy location...easy flat walk into the city. Everything is fresh and clean and the breakfast has a great choice. The only thing that lets it down is the extortionate cost for parking...way beyond anywhere else in Bath! We ended up using JustPark and paying £16 for over 24hrs parking rather than the £50 at the hotel!"

Based on room rates to charge for parking felt unnecessary and probably won't move the hotel top line needle. Would go back to it!"

"On first arriving to this hotel all seemed well, staff member was polite, explained all we needed to know and helped us to our room, once in the room we noticed that it needed to be maintained better as there was cracked tiles in the bathroom, frayed carpet areas, paint chips and marks on the doors. The furniture such as the dressing table is bubbled up and the tv remote was dirty also. The bed was very hard and left me with a very painful back, the pillows were flat and so had to fold them to...

"Loved my stay! Beautiful location, very friendly service and the amenities were wonderful."

"The property is historic and is decorated accordingly. Breakfast was lovely. Please note, there are NO king beds in this hotel-even though Expedia sold me a room for one. Also, the lift or elevator NOT working- apparently for several weeks now. Inquire as to whether it’s been repaired if you have trouble with steps as there may be many. Lighting fixtures in room need updating. Most staff very nice, especially Tim. Tub in Room 201 is fantastic but door needs to be replaced- extremely...
