From the minute you step in the grand entrance of this palatial 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home in Terra Cotta Terrace, you will know you are officially at "Serenity by the Sea". Boasting over 3500 square feet of beach luxury, there is plenty of room for your group to spread out and enjoy your vacation. Through the front door, you are greeted by a spacious living area with sky-high ceilings, a wet bar, large flat-screen TV, and French doors that lead out to the covered patio and large, fenced-in backyard. In the next room, you will fall in love with the grand, gourmet kitchen featuring new granite counters, a gorgeous tile backsplash, and stainless steel appliances. Can't decide who's going to cook? You both can! There's a custom island with a second sink and additional garbage disposal, plus plenty of counter space and an additional wet bar. The first floor also has a guest bedroom with a queen bed, bunk area with two twin over twin bunks as well as a full bathroom. Up the stairs, you will find three more guest bedrooms, two with queen beds and the other with two built-in twin over twin bunk beds. Lastly, there is an updated king master suite with access to a covered balcony and an ensuite bathroom that is a true spa experience. The bathroom which is connected to an extra-large walk-in closet boasts double vanities, granite countertops, and a claw foot tub for ultimate relaxation. There is also an extraordinary custom-built tall and wide shower. This home is only a short stroll to the sugar white sands of Crystal Beach (about 500 yards), where you'll have private access. Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.
All the excitement of Destin is just minutes away: choice of water-sports, golf, amusement parks, and outlet shopping. One glimpse of Destin beaches and you're hooked. It must be the wide, white beaches and the famous emerald waters. If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!
