"Visited as we had a family funeral with the wake being held at the Bannatyne hotel. As a family we couldn’t recommend it more, we were given a room upgrade which was lovely. Breakfast was excellent with great choice for everyone. Would definitely stay again."

"The station is next to the hotel and follow the Taxi signs as the Taxi rank is next to the hotel. Perfect if you don't want to walk far and then need a taxi from hotel to anywhere. I shall stay here again."

"The superior room was comfortable and led out to a huge quiet garden. But the decking and furniture outside were rotten. The bathroom had an unstable toilet and a difficult shower. Insulation was poor. Presentation on approach wasn’t great, with dead plants everywhere. Having said that, we had a great night’s sleep and staff were friendly and helpful. Location great."

"After checking in we found the air conditioning was not working, tried to call the front desk and phone was not working, nor was the TV. Had to walk back down to reception where we were told we were pre warned about the air conditioning ( we were not!!) and there was a fan in the room- there wasn’t.
