"The hotel had no air con, but fan was given on request. Staff polite and happy to help. Plumbing was questionable. Showers were adequate, but water pressure not good. Heard a couple of other guests complaining they had no cold water to fill a kettle, and no water for shower. Our bath was very slow in draining water, with water still in the bath the following day. Breakfast was good, however, dining places often missing salt, pepper and items of cutlery. Waiting staff seemed inexperienced, but...

"Lovely cottage full of character. Lots of thoughtful touches such as shower gel, shampoo and kitchen essentials and the owner responded promptly to all our queries. The garden was an added bonus in the hot weather. Only two minor criticisms - firstly it wasn’t clear from the description that the bathroom (and therefore the only toilet) were on the ground floor. "The staff were amazing from the front desk Darcy and mum to the night porter, who could not do enough for us brilliant. Would recommend to all ages and jealous that we’re not still there. Carnival was great; only thing is if you’re down for this event next year, find parking first early, as it’s at a premiere. Massive shout out again to all. 👍😘"
