"The Hotel da Vinci's location was excellent, both for the seafront and for the theatres, heading into the centre of town for the restaurants and bars. Howard Square was nicely off the beaten track, very quiet with onstreet parking for which the hotel offered guests complimentary permits. My room was huge, if a little 'tired", decoratively speaking, but everything was very clean. Very happy with my stay, thank you!"

"This is definitely not a 4 star hotel! It is over priced. The rooms are small as is the shower room. The hotel needs updating. It is expensive and definitely don't book breakfast. We were not asked what we would like for a cooked breakfast. Instead this was placed in front of us within 2 minutes of us sitting down! It had been sitting around and definitely not cooked to order. "I specifically booked this hotel because it has a lift and my mum cannot do stairs. We were attending a special family celebration and wanted to stay the night to make a weekend of it. When we arrived at the hotel, the lift was broken - the steps to the first floor were exceedingly steep and narrow - my poor mum was absolutely unable to climb them. There were no ground floor rooms available so we had to cancel the booking and are going through the Expedia complaints process to get a refund....
