Casa del Cenote

Room smelled musty, was very humid and mosquitoes were a problem in my sister’s room since she was on the ground floor. The front office lady tried to upsell us a room so we could be closer together. She said we would otherwise be in 3 different buildings. She was pretty rude so the trip started off a little rough. Otherwise everyone else was nice. Good amenities, but no beach you can swim in. The water was brown and smelly. You have to walk quite a distance to each restaurant and pool or take the complimentary ride in the golf cart. Great amenities for children although we didn’t have any children with us. The drinks were a hit or miss. Grounds were lush and beautiful. Food was decent. It is all inclusive but they only allow you one specialty dining reservation per night but buffet was usually open. It wasn’t terrible for the price but I wouldn’t go back. And If you’re looking for a nice beach this isn’t it.

Our fifth stay at Valentin Imperial. Always great, friendly and timely service by everyone. Beautiful large rooms. No wearing of bracelets. Eat where you want everyday. Plenty of opportunity for excursions. Very reasonable price. Excellent nightlife shows. Really cool sports, cigar, and piano bars, each with a different ambience. Multiple swim up bars. Many daily activities and well equipped gym.
