"Check in could be improved. Arrived to a busy pub with customers waiting for service at the bar and no designated check in desk. Several staff just walked past us with our bags and no one acknowledged we were trying to check in for several minutes. The room was okay but not as shown on our booking confirmation - it was an attic room with very steep stairs and a not very safe landing area outside the door. "The Alcester Inn was a fantastic place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a very comfortable bed. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Food in the restaurant was excellent, with generous portions and quick service, while breakfast offered plenty of choice. Free parking and a convenient location made everything easy. Great value for money, and I'd happily stay here again. Highly recommended!"

"Really loved our stay at The Blue Boar. Enjoyed an excellent dinner in the beer garden, and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Parking was plentiful and the electric car charging station was the best and easiest we used on our travels. Would definitely stay again."

"Lovely property.
Front desk staff very helpful. Requested housecoats and slippers, slippers never came, housecoats was the rattiest thing I have seen, would fit a child and both had no ties. I stayed two days and they never vacuumed my room and there was a spider on the ceiling and a huge cobweb in the window that I cleaned. I had to ask three different people to fix the safe before it was fixed.
Dining staff was extremely slow with picking up dishes and the food was not very flavourful for...

"Loverly riverside terrace with plenty of seating areas. Breakfast is wide ranging but can be a bit of hard work finding all the choices and very busy on weekends.
Club Lounge fills up quickly when complimentary drinks and snacks appear. Very effective air con in rooms. But in comparison to other local hotels, we would always stay here."

"The hotel was ok, a small section was a nice historical building with character but large bits are new and dated and not in a good way. The rooms where very hot and not air conditioned, it was cooler going outside in the 30+ def then it was in the room.
By biggest annoyance was the parking l, they have lots of it but it’s an extra £7 a night per vehicle, not per space. Now I know that seems an odd thing to say, but I stayed the with my father and we both traveled up by motorcycle. So we only...
