"There were shops close to the hotel, across a busy 3 lanes of traffic, there is a crosswalk but the cars dont slow down or stop for you. The pool was small and warm. The staff are freindly and helpful, not a large selection at breakfast. In our room the fridge didnt work, the carpets are stained and and in need of a deep clean even in the hallway outside. "Having not been to Malaysia or Kuala Lumpur before, I was a little confused about finding the check-in, reception. The main entrance is inside the mall, at the far end of the East Wing on Level G. The room, while dated in furnishings, was extremely clean and spacious. Very easy access to the elevators, the suite came with both a double and a single bed, as well as full-sized bath and separate shower. Will certainly stay here again if I come back to KL."

"I made the mistake not reading the reviews first. I was fooled by the rooftop pool and the misleading pictures. The pictures showed modern looking rooms, our room was very dated. The rug must have been 20 years old and it showed. The furniture was old but useable. The carpets made us feel dirty. The bathroom had grime on the seals. The electrics need to be checked. What is disappointing from my last stay (Jan 26) and this one is NO housekeeping!!
