"Great stay"

"My wife and I were in town to see a baseball game and take in the general sights. The hotel was in a great location for this. The property is really interesting given its age. Our reservation was for a king bed with fireplace and city view. King bed - check. Fireplace - check. City view - only if the view of an alley counts. We also were not able to take advantage of the outdoor courtyard our first two days as there was a wedding taking place…not the hotel’s fault but disappointing none...

"We arrived later in the evening and the one front desk attendant was busy so it took a bit to get checked in. The room had some pretty beat up looking furniture (a whole check was missing out of the table in the room) the in-room coffee station was poorly stocked and due to the building being older, the shower was pretty slow to drain."

"SOFA BED IS VERY HARD"

"Stayed for comic con and it was awesome. Comfortable, close, and friendly staff. Would say it was a little noise during the weekend being so close to the Gaslamp bars and stuff, but some earplugs fixed that right up."
