"Amazing warblers and so many great walking trails in this area, in forest and on the shore. Really gorgeous views from the second floor suite, which overlooks a marsh area. The suite is spacious and beautifully furnished, with many thoughtful touches that make it a really special place to stay. The suite is open to a landing with stairs that lead to the house below, but Charlie is very quiet and friendly, and this was no problem during our stay. We’re looking forward to our next visit!"

"Hosts Doug and his wife were great! Friendly and very accommodating. The loft is spotless and comfortable furniture. Large hammock. Great clean bathroom and shower. Location to Newport and other attractions is super easy. Would highly recommend. "

"We were very impressed with this property. So many rooms to spread out in with TVs in all those places. Beautiful scenery with water views. It takes about 20-30 minutes to get over to the road to Newport or Falls River, MA. We got to Cape Cod, Falmouth, and Martha's Vineyard with ease. "

"When looking for a place for our family Thanksgiving gathering I was not confident we could find something that would meet our needs. We wanted something 'nice' but not too precious that I would spend the weekend worrying about the kids damaging something. And we couldn't pay some of the outrageous prices we were seeing. "We enjoyed this rental in Little Compton. It is well appointed, perfect for a group of three who were attending a 2-day event on Aquidneck Island. "We had a wonderful time at the home. It was large enough to fit my family of four while we entertained some friends in the area. The highlight was seeing some deer out the window on Christmas morning. The only warning I would give is that one of the bedrooms is only accessible by a ladder. Just in case you have someone in your party that has mobility issues. Overall, would definitely book again. "

"The fantastic setting of this house and the gorgeous views were absolutely the highlight of our weekend away visiting Newport. At first we thought the drive over to Newport would be a drag but it turned out the be a huge benefit. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Little Compton and getting the real feel of small town New England. The house is small but very comfortable for 4 to 6 people. Our host was very accommodating and checked in with us to see if we needed anything. We would definitely stay...

"We had a very nice vacation at this house. The driveway and plantings are very nice to drive into. The house is perfect for a couple to get away, and there are bunks for the kids. Joy and Mike have done a great job. Thank you for making a nice week in Little Compton we appreciate it! "
