Charlie was a wonderful host and very accommodating; our private suite was spacious, very clean, comfortable and nicely furnished with lots of plants and plenty of snacks and fresh fruit. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and marsh views from our deck; our entire stay was peaceful and quiet and Charlie's home was conveniently located to many great places especially for birdwatching/ We had a memorable visit.

Incredible spot for birdwatching

Amazing warblers and so many great walking trails in this area, in forest and on the shore. Really gorgeous views from the second floor suite, which overlooks a marsh area. The suite is spacious and beautifully furnished, with many thoughtful touches that make it a really special place to stay. The suite is open to a landing with stairs that lead to the house below, but Charlie is very quiet and friendly, and this was no problem during our stay. We’re looking forward to our next visit!

Peaceful Oasis

This property is beautifully maintained, a peaceful oasis off the beaten path! Charlie is so accommodating providing all of the comforts of home. Hot coffee, serene views and a bird sanctuary are just a few of our favorites! A beautiful local winery nearby with Lobster Rolls and gorgeous farm! And stop by Coastal Roasters for scones and coffee on the water! Highly recommend this getaway! We look forward to visiting again!

Perfect getaway

This property has a large suite on the top floor of a big house overlooking a bird/wildlife sanctuary. We lost count of how many egrets and herons we saw! The suite is very comfortable and felt like having our own apartment, with a bedroom, bathroom, and living/dining area. The proprietor, Charlie, was very friendly and accommodating! The surrounding area is a mix of shore, rural, and residential, and within easy access to beaches and walks. This was the ideal spot for our short getaway, and if we come back to the area, this will be our first call for a reservation!

Relaxing retreat!

My friend and I wanted to get away for a relaxing time close to nature and beaches. The suite extremely clean and comfortable with beautiful views. Charle was the ultimate host providing coffee, fresh fruit and breakfast staples every morning and ice when we requested it. Wonderful!

We loved staying in Charlie Sherman’s beautiful accommodation! It was spotless, light, airy and comfortable. The furnishings were lovely, with a very comfortable bed and plenty of storage for our belongings. Sitting on the small deck after a day of bicycling was paradise! My husband and I enjoyed the sunset each night. Charlie is a perfect host and has thought of every detail! It is so nice to have the continental breakfast including fresh fruit. He had the coffee ready to brew each day, all i had to do was push a button! He responded immediately to all my texts, and answered every question I had. He was warm and welcoming, but he also respected our privacy. The location is ideal, such a quiet spot but close to restaurants, cafes, and the beach! It is ideal bicycling territory, my husband and I loved the countryside with many farms, beautiful stone walls and sheep! Riding along the ocean was breathtaking! Thank you Charlie for the exceptional getaway! We loved every second!

Wonderful vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Little Compton. It is a lovely town and the property is on a quiet, dead end street. Our host Charlie went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. There were snacks and fresh water daily as well as breakfast foods. He even made us fresh muffins. The apartment was very clean and beautifully decorated. We hope to go back again
