Just two miles away, the market town of Helmsley offers an array of attractions, including the medieval Helmsley Castle, the tranquil Helmsley Walled Garden, and the National Centre for Birds of Prey. Explore the town’s vibrant marketplace, independent shops, and quaint tea rooms, or dine at one of the excellent local pubs and restaurants. A short drive will take you to the stunning ruins of Rievaulx Abbey, a former Cistercian monastery, where you can also enjoy a tranquil walk through the valley.
