"Stayed here last minute because of a volleyball tournament in Grand Rapids. Due to a remodel of some sorts they didn't have any breakfast just small muffins and donut holes of some kind. Room was seemingly clean until the shower... Mold on the ceiling and shower curtain. The mini fridge was lukewarm at best so that was disappointing for our drinks being warm for the following full day of games. Staff was very friendly, pool and hot tub were decent. "The room was clean, and the housekeeping service was spot on. The only drawback was dirty laundry in the hall for our first day at the hotel. Additional hooks in the bathroom would be useful. We were very happy with this nice hotel."

"I will neverrr in my life will i ever stay at this hotel ever again in my life. I was displaced from my home due to my neighbor starting a fire and the manager thought it was cool to crack a rude joke “just don’t burn our hotel down” umm excuse me? Then at breakfast, i noticed other people had their dogs, no one said a word to them. I assumed oh, it must be a thing and it was okay. While we were in the lobby with my dog… the manager said something to us. I moved him but I thought it was funny...

"Lightning for the bathroom sink area was inadequate! The air conditioning did not maintain temperature well. The weighted cover was, in my opinion, way too warm. It helped emphasize the irregularities of the air conditioner. Food was good. Room was quiet. People were all nice."

"We had a wonderful stay at Candlewood Suites Grand Rapids. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Our room was spacious and equipped with everything we needed, including a convenient kitchenette. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions.
