Cosy Family Farm Stay - Daily Animal Feeding
Summary:
Enjoy our unique urban farm cottage (add caravan for 6 or more guests) which have both been lovingly restored and renovated. The grounds occupy the corner of our 4 acre family farm in Wamberal. We have a menagerie of animals for daily feeding including ponies, alpacas, goats, sheep & chickens. We love the firepit & outdoor dining experience and the cosy indoor fireplace with a glass of red in winter.
We do cater for parties & events but please enquire for approval & packages prior to booking.
The Space:
The cottage is a completely separate and private and has two bedrooms, lounge and dining room, coffee breakfast bar room, full kitchen, cottage bathroom, laundry and separate WC.
The MASTER bedroom has high ceilings, gorgeous queen sized bed, wardrobe with a private view out onto the acreage.
The SECOND bedroom has a double bunk with single on top perfect for the kids.
The KITCHEN features gas cooktop and oven, SMEG fridge, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and all the modern amenities you would expect.
The Cottage has a BATH, LAUNDRY with washer|dryer combo, polished floorboards throughout and has been recently renovated.
If you are looking to sleep 8 guests, the RESTORED RETRO CARAVAN is next to the Cottage in the garden and sleeps an additional 3 guests in a KING and KING SINGLE. This would suit older children as a fun 'sleepout' type experience or additional adults. There is heating in winter and fly screened windows in Summer. Additional nightly rate apply over 5 guests.
We love the FIREPIT area which has a large table perfect for meals and enjoying the farm and animals which surround the cottage.
In the morning and evening, we will be feeding and tending to our herd of little lovelies and we are more than happy to share this experience with you, your friends and/or children.
Guest Access:
The property has a digital lock and is accessible anytime throughout the day or night. We do prefer to meet you and introduce all our friendly pets and tell our story.
The Neighborhood:
The Ridgeway Ranch is an urban country experience with the convenience of the beach and cafes only a stones throw away. You're not in the middle of nowhere but you will wake with animals and your doorstep on this little acreage. Tumbi Rd can be busy at times but embracing the open space and animals is an easy option.
Getting Around:
You will need a car to get around the area but we have ample off-street parking.
Interaction with Guests:
We are always available through messages and can be found onsite sometimes but will always leave you to your own space.
