"Room was incredibly dated, especially the bathroom. Rug was frayed and there was an old school corded phone next to the toilet. Not what I expected from a “luxury” hotel. Soap, shampoo and conditioner were in tacky plastic white containers that had visible residue where they get filled. Bed was really comfy and staff was helpful, but the room needs some refreshing."

"Had a lovely stay at Oasis Guest House! I only stayed overnight for a World Cup match, but the room was very comfortable. The free upgrade was very appreciated, and the staff was warm and welcoming! The AC and luggage storing were such a bonus."

"Honestly, we have stayed at the Eliot Hotel many times and love the staff there and the proximity to places we need to go. Overall, the air-conditioning unit didn’t seem to work well and the room was very damp. I did let staff know about this as we were leaving and they said they would have maintenance fix it. We also had four people in a room with a pullout couch and one bed and when we got there, the pullout couch did not have sheets or blankets on it. Staff was friendly and immediately...

"Beautiful property with lovely restaurant but rooms are small/tight compared to other luxury hotels. AC system was loud and inefficient. Reminded me of old Marriotts from 1990’s. Butler is a nice concept but slow responses $10 coffee was good but….seems a bit much. Good location. Overall there’s other nice hotels we’ve enjoyed that are superior to this hotel and less expensive"

"the room was spacious and the amenities were great. I stayed fir one night but if I needed to stay in town longer I'd stay here again. there's plenty of stores near by and its pretty walkable to places nearby."

"A well located place. The room looked a little smaller than it appears on the photos. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s located quite centrally. I was able to walk to the freedom trail, public garden, Chinatown. Very convenient for visiting Harvard and MIT too. Recommend this place to all who want to explore all parts of Boston."
