"Very convenient hotel in the Gothic Quarter right next to Las Ramblas on a pedestrian only street. The rooms were large and comfortable with good air conditioning on a very hot day. The staff was very accommodating and worked with us to make sure we were all settled in (we had 7 rooms). The property itself is accessible and worked very well for the one guest who had a wheelchair. The breakfast was also very good and well laid out. "I had an initial reservation after booking as some of the photos of the property on some review sites showed dated facilities. This was not the case and the hotel has gone through a full renovation to have a pleasant cafe at the lobby to clean and modern decor in the rooms. Thoughtful touches throughout from the amenities to storage of your items. The location was a perfect base for my wife and I to explore Madrid by foot. Right off Gran Via and walkable to most of the major sights. "
