"We really enjoyed our traditional Japanese room complete with our own private onsen. There is very little English spoken at the hotel but a lot of effort put into ensuring we were comfortable. It is a 20 minute walk from the train station but that was fine and a nice relaxing way to end the day. There is also a hotel shuttle but it is very crowded so we opted to walk instead. Respectuous, friendly and ready to help. The onsen was a great experience. We had a great time and highly recommend this hotel."

"Super large room with a great view of the valley. Very clean. Bed and bedding was comfortable. Hotel temperature was just right. The Onsen was spectacular. 1 indoor and 4 varying temperature outdoor pools surrounded by nature. We reserved the dinner and breakfast as the hotel is remote. The food was great! Highly recommend. Avoid walking up to it from the main road. After taking the shuttle bus to Hotel Okada, either get the front desk at Hotel Okada to call for a shuttle to take you...
