"Very clean and we loved the porch"

"We rented this cabin for a family getaway for Memorial Day. Everything was exactly as the listing stated. The property was super clean and well appointed. The property is unique with a kitchen on both levels and a full bathroom in the the lower level game room area. The views are stunning and I enjoyed watching the sunrise on the dock"

"Everything was very nice about the property and exactly as described. It was spacious with plenty of room for us to hangout together or separately if we chose. My only complaints were regarding the kitchen. The floor was not as clean as it should’ve been upon our arrival. Also, we had to contend with ants until I used salt as a deterrent that kept them off the kitchen counter for the duration of our stay. "

"This apartment is in the perfect location but, due to construction across the street, is very hard to access by taxi, especially with luggage. It does have a very small washing machine (I didn't see a dryer) but it was easier to go a few doors down to use a Laundromat and do all our wash at once. There was no coffee or tea, bring your own or go to the cafe across the street. Make sure you don't leave one of the keys in the lock inside when you leave or it will require a locksmith to get back in....

"Perfect place to stay on Smith Mountail Lake. Walking distance to any lake activity you would want plus one of the best restaurants around. Very clean with terrific communication with owner. Only note is even though occupancy says for 4, it is really 2 adults, 2 children. We Intended for 4 adults to stay and had to make other accommodations for 2nd couple. Will definitely rebook if we have another house overflow issue. "

"Overall our stay was great. We did some extra cleaning before we settled in, but it did not affect our satisfaction of the property. This oasis feels like a family cabin from northern Michigan. I’d stay again."

"It's a nice townhouse on the lake, can't really complain much about that. A few things to note. The downstairs bedroom is really cold (winter season of course) so you must be willing to keep a fire going if you want to stay down there. Also, the two queen beds felt more like full size beds to my wife and I. Smith Mountain Lake is a beautiful area, but be warned to get in out of of the area to other locations you will need to travel 15 minutes on very winding roads. And finally, there was a lack...

"We had a good time. The only suggestion I have is it would be nice to have night lights in the bathrooms. The big pillows on the bed were too big for us so we used the 4 smaller ones. Kitchen was well supplied. Large couch was not really comfortable without extra pillows at your back because the seat was particularly deep but there were a number of throw pillows. "We had the very best time here! Everything was super clean and the location is the definition of perfect. The host was super responsive to any questions we had. We loved it so much we extended our stay! Thank you Laurie for letting us stay at your lake cottage, we will definitely be back!"
