"We had a lovely stay here with my family of four. The unit is self sufficient and had everything you needed. The spa and sauna were great as well. It’s in a remote area and without a car it was difficult to get to food but there’s a vending machine on property with food options."

"The property was amazing and the staff was very attentive. Rooms were unlike anything I have experienced before. The private onsen is a perfect size for two people with beautiful forest views for a serene feel. The food was very good and fresh, but after a couple of days it felt repetitive like we were eating the same thing each meal, just a slightly different. The location is a little isolated which is fine if you plan on staying on property for the whole stay."

"Overall it was an OK stay. Very traditional ryokan which makes it special. However staff speaks little English which makes communication difficult at times. Staff was unable to articulate amenities and had to use an AI chat bot to answer simple questions. Also some staff members seem very frustrated and rude at times.
