"We checked in after hours, but the check-in system was very well organized, and everything went smoothly. The food at the on-site restaurant, Common, was also delicious, and we really enjoyed it with some local beer. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. Some people may want a place with no WiFi, so it can be a selling point too. But this place has very poor mobile phone reception too. For a combined holiday with the need to do some work, this just didn't work. The owners also highlighted the TV, which only had basic channels despite being a smart TV. "Fantastic for family getaway. Exactly what we wanted. Great layout, beds good size and comfortable, kitchen, dining/family and bathrooms all just right. Verandah with seating, tables etc had great outlook over the valley. Good price also. Already recommended to others and we will use again."
