A stocked and very clean Kitchen was great, Deborah the owner is very nice, she takes great pride in making her property beautiful. Full disclosure there is a bar on the first floor so you hear people talking till late in the evening. If that doesn’t bother you the property is perfect. We would stay again."

"Very spacious room and bathroom, very clean and very quiet. The room had an A/C unit and this was the heater too. There was a communal kitchen free to use which had coffee machine and hot water for making a tea and there was a fridge in there. The rooms are on the third floor and the rear of the property overlooks the old amphitheater which is now a square with a few restaurants. "The rooms were very spacious and clean and the beds were vety comfortable. Everybody was so kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. My only regret was not being able to stay another night as we were traveling to Assisi the next day. The locat to Lucca was also perfect and tge drive into the walled city was less than two minutes. I can't say enough great things about our hostess and her mom. They we absolutely sweet and wonderful people. The next time, I will use La Chiuso Delle Monache...

"Albergo in ottima posizione (a ridosso delle mura antiche di Lucca e a dieci minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria); relativamente nuovo, ben tenuto, personale cortese, prezzo ottimo (ma era bassa stagione). L'unico difetto per cui ho tolto una stella alla struttura è che stanno ristrutturando il primo piano e quindi la mattina (ovviamente dopo le 8:00) c'è stato un po' di rumore dato dagli operai al lavoro. Spa n.g. perché non ne ho usufruito."

"Although we only had one night, it was New Year's Eve. The fireworks and party were just outside the hotel, but it was still nice and quiet in the room. Great location for everything walkable, including a great walking path on top of the old city wall. Great food options close any time of day."
