"We stayed here for 3 nights, the property was spotlessly clean on arrival. Parking at the cottage was a blessing as the road outside was busy with residents cars. An ideal base to explore Dorset, and several pubs within easy walking distance. Would stay here again."

"The Bull is centrally located in Bridport with all the towns facilities within easy walking distance. The hotel itsrlf was very welcoming and the staff efficient and helpful. Our room was clean and well appointed. We stayed on a bed and breakfast tariff and breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. We took advantage of the guest car park which was safe and easily reached through the hotel. Would stay again if in the local area."

"The cottage itself is lovely, and has a lot of potential. It’s a large cottage which accomodates 5. Lighting wasn’t working in all rooms which was a nuisance and the facilities in the kitchen were dirty and not maintained well. Oven and stove worked, coffee machine filthy. Given that you would hire a cottage to do self catering, it wasn’t one of the better cottages we have stayed in. We found it a cold welcoming, no welcome note, only a small box of biscuits on entry. "A wonderful stay at Calm Sea Guesthouse. We had a lovely spacious room with comfortable beds and nice extra touches like a packet of sweets for our teenage boys and biscuits for us. Even a mini fridge with fresh milk - what a treat! Mel and Trish could not have made us feel more welcome. Trish cooked a delicious breakfast each morning, and Mel gave us a wealth of tips and suggestions for eating out and places to visit. A first rate stay, highly recommend."

Easy walk into Weymouth town and fantastic place as a base for exploring the rest of the Dorset. I would recommend this place to my family and friends and would definitely visit again!"
