"Sophie Terrace is near the train station in Rome. It was a very comfortable and safe hotel, and the front desk staff, (during our stay we mostly dealt with Flo, but all of them was very kind), helped us with restaurant recommendations and directions and offered tips on how to enjoy Rome. We loved the stay and the staff was warm and friendly, so you felt very comfortable there. 100% recommend!"

"Very clean and comfortable room. The breakfast room is always open so one can get a coffee or pastry or fruit any time. Apin, the proprietor, is super friendly, helpful and available. The location was excellent - walkable to the train station. 15 minutes to the Colosseum. Maybe 20 minutes to Trevi. 50 minute walk to Vatican. There is a good restaurant next door and lots of other restaurants and shopping nearby, I was concerned that there was no "reception desk" but Apin provided...

"My suite was amazing and I really appreciated the complimentary bottles of natural and sparkling water and Nespresso pods left in my room every day. I can't praise the front desk staff enough! Extremely friendly and welcoming, and gave me excellent suggestions for dining in the area, as well as giving me directions to attractions. The B&B is in a great area - far enough from the touristy areas, but still within walking of the top attractions. Monti has great local dining and shopping...

"Felt safe arriving through big entrance doors into a quiet area behind in a courtyard in the city centre. Everything you needed for a short stay in the city. Room was bright and clean. All staff at reception and those preparing breakfast were very helpful and courteous."

"We stayed at Best Western Plus Universo for our first trip to Rome. We chose this as it is a trusted brand and very close to Termini station. Our room was very clean and equipped with amenities perfect for our needs, with a lovely balcony view! The property is a bit dated with very obvious signs of age but they are doing a great job maintaining a comfortable stay for their guests! All the staff we met were friendly and helpful! Would stay here again and highly recommend to other travellers...
