This beautiful, modern Kauai vacation home makes an excellent home base while exploring all the beauty and adventure Kauai has to offer. Located in Princeville, you will find yourself surrounded by beaches, mountains and North Shore hospitality. all within steps of your front door. Shopping, groceries and shave ice are less than one mile away at Princeville Shopping Center. Hideaway's Pizza is a 5-minute walk! The area has great hikes, kayaking and prime surfing! This property is a two story, 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom private condo with hardwood and tile flooring throughout. The master bedroom has a King size Tempurpedic bed with an ensuite bathroom with a shower and bathtub. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and an adjacent bathroom with shower. When you come back to your beach cottage after a days adventure you can make dinner in your fully equipped kitchen and enjoy sunset from your lanai or downstairs porch swing. Parking for one car is included in the cost of the rental and you have your own designated spot. Pack light, an iron, hairdryer, and kitchen basics are all waiting for you in the condo. The Fine Print: Almost no homes in Hawaii have air conditioning. Please be aware, and if you have any questions about this, please ask before booking. We want our guests to be happy. We do require a rental contract to be signed prior to confirming your reservation. Any questions, or if you'd like to see it prior to booking, please ask. Renters need to be at least 21 years of age. Kauai is a beautiful island, I dare say it will be one of the most beautiful places you will visit ever. It has a rural vibe, and there are lots of outdoor activities to do and enjoy. The Princeville area is especially beautiful with mountains, beaches, cliffs and taro plantations all intermingling along this north shore of Kauai. Any questions about Kauai, please ask. Missing this place already!

We’ve never been so sad to leave a place. This 2 story modern home is set back from the road and you have it all to yourself. The second story deck is nestled in the trees where you can enjoy the sound of birds and a beautiful view of the mountains. It is a short walk to a secluded and private beach with wonderful snorkeling. Conveniently there is an hose near the front stairs where you can wash off sand.Across the street from the house you can view amazing sunsets, one of the best on the island. The location is one of the best in Princeville, quiet and so close to the beach you don’t need to worry about finding a place to park, which can be a problem in Princeville.Upon arrival we found a welcoming gift of wine, chocolates, and coffee.The folks at the Princeville Vacation Rentals responded quickly to any questions we had….even on a weekend! We are already planning our return trip!

Perfect getaway

We spent a wonderful week here and wish it was for longer. The villa was just as pictured, very clean, had everything we needed. Easy and quick communications and check in. The location feels secluded even though it is within walking distance of beaches and a beautiful sunset overlook. Thanks to the hosts for sharing their home with us!

Questions

I thought the property very pretty. However, the beach is not accessible for older/less healthy persons. Members of our family were yelled at, and security called, for walking on a sidewalk they apparently were not suppose to be on. In addition, there were tiny bugs that made using the kitchen difficult. I would suggest cleaning the dishwasher as well, smells horrible

Easy stay

Great villa for a small family. Easy walk to the 1 Hotel for dinner/drinks. Villa has everything you need…beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards. Kitchen is stocked with all the essentials. Only negative is the roosters in the morning (villa cant control)!!! Thanks

Great location with beatiful views

Could not have been better. The location was perfect for a relaxed get away and Maria has been super helpful in answering any questions or requests we had. Initially we were a bit worried since the property did not have air conditioner but there were enough fans and ventilation that we slept great and it was really comfortable. We loved sitting in the Lanai with the mountain views and trees.

Amazing views, stay, location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo! Location was perfect- close to area beaches, stores, restaurants, shopping! Our morning views from the backyard patio were so peaceful. Easy check-in/check-out process. Fast and effective communication. Well stocked kitchen, and so sweet to leave us a bottle of wine to enjoy! First trip to Hawaii and we will definitely be returning! Highly recommend this cozy cottage! Mahalo

Amazing!!

The condo is amazing, all the little touches are perfect!! The location is fantastic, easy walk to Hideaway's beach and Queen's bath. Cant say enough good things about the place, highly recommend!!

Great Property and Location

This is a very nice location where you can walk to beaches. Across the street is a small park where you can see the sunset. The house and decor is exactly what you picture in a beach property that is very well decorated. The evening breeze is relaxing and cools the house off nicely. I would book this property again without a second thought.

We came to Kauai to hike to the Hanakapi’ai Falls for our friend's 60th Birthday. It was a surprise adventure but one she wanted to do. The local and accommodations were perfect. Highly recommend.

Location is EVERYTHING!

This is truly in the BEST LOCATION if you want a very, very short walk to three beaches or just a one minute walk to the famous overlook to whale watch and surfer watch! Decorated in lovely beach colors and decor, smart TV’s, fully equipped kitchen! Loads of bathing towels available and two of the largest washer/dryer I’ve ever seen or used! We had several questions and the rental company either answered immediately or called right back! THATS SERVICE! Beach chairs, beach towels, ice chest, and beach umbrella all provided. Hideaway’s Pizza practically across the street and Happy Talk Restaurant (our favorite) around the corner! Food mart for groceries takes a 3-4 minute drive. Loved this darling 2-story stand alone home.

Great accommodations!

Excellent place! Was clean and all the needed amenities were included. They even had beach chairs, umbrellas and an ice chest available for use. Beds were comfortable, lots of towels. No complaints, exactly as listed.

Great Family Getaway

Great spot for a family vacation. Short walk to Hideaway Beach and beautiful sunsets just steps from the front door. This was our second trip staying in this unit and we will be back!

Beautiful House

The house was beautiful and everything we needed for our family of 6. It slept everyone comfortably & had all the amenities you would want. It’s near an incredible beach on the north shore, Hideaway Beach, and close access to all that Princeville and Hanalei Bay have to offer. There were some communication issues with the property management, but the stay itself was wonderful.

Princeville Paradise

We enjoyed our recent stay in Princeville. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed for cooking & a day at the beach. The location was great for walking to the beach and a quick drive from local restaurants and attractions. The stand alone condo was nice after staying in connected units in past visits. We would be happy to stay here again.

Far exceeded expectations!

The description of this property does not do it justice. We were so amazed when we arrived! The location is exceptional... gorgeous views of the mountains/interior, and directly across the street from the best ocean/sunset views in the area! We almost booked a far more expensive property with ocean views, which turned out to be directly across the street. So glad we didn't! The 2-story cottage is very roomy (more than enough for our family of four), comfortable, well-equipped and had a great beach-y vibe. Great full-sized kitchen if you're inclined to cook. Walk to Hideaway Beach (worth the slightly treachurous hike down!) and Puu Poa Beach (200 stairs down, but also worth the effort!). Easy drive to Hanalei Village for shopping, restaurants, food trucks, surfing lessons and expansive beach. Highly recommend!

The Yellow House

We loved our stay at “the Yellow house.” There was plenty of space for 4 adults. It was well located just a short walk to beaches and lovely views of golf course and the gully. The kitchen was well stocked. Our only difficulty was that the bed in the second room was too soft for our liking.
