"Good central location. Hotel smells of curry which is fine if that’s your thing, bar prices very expensive, bar staff inattentive. The hotel is geared towards Indian clientele (Indian cricket and tennis on the bar tv’s). Wifi next to useless. I couldn’t sleep because of a very loud whining noise in my room(153) and the corridor which I reported to the staff on my departure.If you’re looking for a Bristolian experience, this hotel isn’t it."

"Superb. Seamless check-in and out.
Spotless room, comfortable bed, powerful shower, nightlite in bathroom.
We didn't have breakfast, but ate dinner in the River Grille, and the food was delicious. The service was exemplary also.
Only very minor gripe was that they had XO cognac at the bar, and no proper brandy glasses. Barman actually asked if he should put the cognac in my coffee!"

"Clean pleasant room that looked recently refurbished, with a kettle and microwave and a enough tea and coffee to survive a night and morning. A fridge and hairdryer was useful. Shower was good, stocked with shampoo and conditioner. Bathroom was clean. Otherwise it was basic but sufficient. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We had one set of neighbours who played very loud music all afternoon until late, but thankfully eventually stopped. At this (cold and wet) time of year the pub...

"I loved my short stay here with my two dogs - my room overlooked the square and had all the amenities I needed. I slept well and it was well situated to explore everything and be straight out in the buzz of millennium square and the waterways in the morning.
I can’t comment on the food as don’t eat there but the staff were friendly and gladly took a parcel from Amazon in for me which I really appreciated
Parking in the very nearby carpark at a discount was a bonus for me too

"The room was roomy and comfy, but there were some dusty spots on the surfaces in both the bedroom and bathroom. The cleaning staff could definitely use some more care . I was a little startled to find something curly and hairy on the bathroom counter when I checked in , but it turned out to be just an old eyelash.
Additionally, the bath towels were old and stiff.
On the positive side, breakfast was very good, with plenty of hot and cold, sweet and savory options to suit everyone’s preferences."
