"The property was charming and fun. However there are no staff on site so getting the code and getting in was confusing (another man there actually just left to get another room). We had some trouble with luggage storage, and again no one to problem solve…there was apparently a manager on site who refused to come assist, instead a housekeeper attempted to problem solve."

"The location was great and close to everything . The staff was excellent and very helpful . The property had a little garden area and the they were very accommodating . They held our luggage after check out so we could enjoy the time until our ride was ready to get us the room was very spacious . "

"We had a great stay here. The hotel was clean, safe, and well-kept, with friendly staff and a very comfortable, firm bed that looked brand new. If your room faces the street, you’ll have a lovely river view, though it can be a bit noisy at times. The location is excellent — all major attractions are within a 10–25 minute walk. "Loved this central location, where the only challenge was dropping our luggage from the rental car, as who knew we should have just pulled up on the sidewalk and unloaded, but we didn't want to be the ugly Americans ☺️, as street was one lane and we would have caused a back up. Could not be a nicer location, with outstanding windows that blocked all street noise in this lively area. Great to have our own kitchen that perfectly suited our needs, but plenty of elbow room with a unique, stylish...

"We loved our stay at Benci! It’s in a prime location and surprisingly quiet, given it’s above a bar. Super clean, cute, and comfortable. If you have a larger checked bag be aware there are steps up to the guest house, but it wasn’t an issue for us. The bar downstairs (Moyo Bar) is also very hospitable and a great spot for an espresso or drink. We had a car and the parking garage Benci recommended was close and easy to find. Would definitely book again and highly recommend!"

"Very nice apartment with no elevator as expected but it is only on the 2nd floor so not bad. Very close to main piazzas and attractions. Travelled with my wife and 3 teenage kids. They enjoyed our time in Florence very much and the proximity of the apartment did factor in as we could stop for 1 hour breaks and then just walk back. Excellent and very courteous staff. They have a washing machine which was great, no dryer but they provided a rack with which we were able to air dry the clothes...

"Good hotel. Breakfast was good. Room also good for europe standard: big enough. Location is good. They have a new bar and front desk was advertising it with discount on first drink. However, when you go to the bar, it was pretty clear that this was a new endeavor for them. There were 3 group of people in bar in total and everyone in staff seemed overwhelmed with that. After waiting for 10 mins without being addressed, walked out and still no one asked what is up. Minus the bar, hotel is great....
